About FSC

Food Safety Certifiers’ (FSC’s) parent company, Organic Certifiers (OC), had been providing USDA organic certification to the agricultural industry since they opened their doors in 1997. Due the increased demand of food safety certification from their organic clients, OC founded its food safety division, FSC, in 2012. FSC’s mission is to provide auditing services to the industry’s top food safety schemes while preserving the highest level of customer service that we are so well known for.

FSC provides food safety certification in accordance with the GFSI benchmarked schemes, GlobalG.A.P. and PrimusGFS as well as the United Fresh developed Harmonized Standard. Certification is important.

FSC is ISO 17065 accredited by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) for the PrimusGFS and GlobalG.A.P. programs. FSC has directly licensed with Untied Fresh Trade Association to provide Harmonized Standard audits. FSC is a division of Organic Certifiers (OC) which is accredited by the USDA to provide NOP organic certification and the CAEQ for provide organic certification to COR (Canada) and EU organic programs. FSC does not directly provide organic certification but works with the organic division to provide combo audits. Organic certificates are provided directly from Organic Certifiers.
